Full Job Description
The Royal Caribbean Group's Corporate Communications Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, Creative and Content reporting to the SVP, Chief Communications Officer.

This position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.

This position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Creative and Content leads the global shared services creative team (Creative Hub) responsible for Royal Caribbean Group's branding, content, digital assets, and executive presentations. This role manages everything from overarching strategy through timeline, scope, resources, and budget. This individual is responsible for establishing, facilitating, and maintaining project workflows and communication between multiple teams throughout the enterprise. The primary focus is to build and understand the needs of the organization and deliver creatively for both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Content Leadership: Drive strategic direction for content production globally across Shared Services (Shipboard and Shoreside). Consult with clients including C-Suite, Human Resources, Workplace Solutions, Corporate Affairs, & Corporate Responsibility.

  • Resource Management: Oversee and optimize the allocation of creative and editorial resources to develop original, impactful content.

  • Content Development: Build, lead, and review Creative Hub's work to achieve creative goals and bring the organization's storytelling narrative to life. Work closely with the C-Suite to create content such as financial infographics, press releases, legal and environmental reports to share with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Production Oversight:

    • Manage day-to-day relationships with cross functional teams to understand pipeline of projects to plan, resource appropriately and deliver creative assets.

    • Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team and partners to drive strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative solutions.

    • Orchestrate and execute each phase of the internal and external creative processes from approval of concepts, layout creation, executive presentations, branding, video conceptualization to final creative delivery.

    • Optimize content for corporate channels and understand current processes and performance.

    • Keep projects on track by planning and monitoring through project management platform and coordinating with agencies, freelancers and third-party partners to execute seamlessly.

  • Team Leadership: Lead the US and Manila Creative Hub team on all corporate design campaigns from ideation to execution and achieve campaign objectives.

  • Vendor and Asset Management: Strategically utilize staff, vendors, agencies, existing materials, and stock libraries to maximize output and efficiency.


Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Business Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in editorial or content creation.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to provide writing samples and develop work in a simulated environment.

  • Proven experience managing professionals with diverse creative skill sets.


  • Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative partner and confident thought leader.

  • Ability to work with a wide array of partners and clients in content development, production, measurement, video distribution, seeding, and social media.
