Senior Manager, Corporate Facilities at Spectrum, you'll oversee building maintenance and workplace services, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and visitors. Your leadership will focus on operational reliability and effective property management. By driving a high-performance culture and optimizing facility operations, you'll contribute to Spectrum's mission of operational excellence and exceptional service delivery.
How You'll Make an Impact - Develop and manage robust facilities operational strategies focused on customer experience, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Oversee expense and capital budgets, ensuring expenditures align with the Total Cost of Occupancy methodology.
- Ensure proper staffing and completion of daily facility tasks, including maintenance and workplace experience services.
- Administer personnel functions, such as recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, to build a strong team.
- Collaborate with Finance and other partners to manage property financial activities and adhere to corporate policies.
- Oversee vendor performance management and ensure all work meets contractual and company expectations.
- Lead facilities planning, including space allocation and coordination with departments for reconfiguring spaces.
Working Conditions - Potential but limited overnight, multi-night travel to offices in market areas/out-of-town
- Available to respond to after hour emergencies/inclement weather issues
- Ability to climb a ladder, bend/squat/kneel and lift or carry up to 20 pounds as needed
- Walking: moving about on foot frequently, often over long distances and for long periods of time
What You'll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications - Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience
- Experience
- 7+ years of facilities management experience
- 5+ years of Office and Occupancy Services management experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Hospitality, Meeting and Event Management
- Skills
- Understand building construction with the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Communicate in a clear, straightforward, professional manner with all levels of employees, customers, and suppliers, both in writing and verbally; Demonstrate advanced customer service skills
- Use personal computer and software applications, including Microsoft Office, proficiently
- Work independently
- Know fire prevention and other building safety programs and practices
- Understand OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations
- Have knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods for safety management
- Know environmental auditing, incident investigation, and reporting; Demonstrate effective analytical and reasoning skills
- Understand financial terms, principles, and corporate budgeting practices
- Apply and utilize KPIs and performance metrics through benchmarking and best practices
- Exhibit effective empathy, compassion, welcoming skills, and willingness to provide atonement in difficult situations; Supervise, influence, and motivate others effectively
- Maintain confidentiality effectively
- Hold a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within company-required standards
