The Linear Motion Division (Thomson) is a major contributor to the Segment, with approximately 1,500 global associates and $400M in revenue. There are 9 main sites located across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, China, & Europe.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Finance, Linear Motion Division and is responsible for the finance function of one of our fastest growing facilities in East Aurora, NY as well as a feeder site in St. Kitts. Responsibilities include full P&L ownership, forecasting, budgeting, and maintaining a robust control environment. This position will be a business partner to the plant manager and will be a critical member of the site leadership team with high visibility to division leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures application and compliance with Regal Rexnord accounting policies and procedures, US GAAP, and compliance rules and laws.
- Partner with operational and commercial leaders to support them in driving sustainable business growth, share insights, and optimize profitability.
- Maintain cost accounting system with focus on data integrity and consistency.
- Review labor and material variances in a forward-looking manner.
- Develop cost rates and analyze inventory and movements.
- Lead annual physical inventory.
- Analyze actual manufacturing costs, understand and articulate drivers for variances, and partner with operational leaders to improve efficiency and forecast accuracy.
- Produce labor efficiency reporting.
- Lead annual budget and monthly forecast processes.

Education and Experience Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration required.
- 8+ years of experience for a manufacturing with cost accounting exposure.
- Must have a strong Cost systems background, excellent analytical skills
- Advanced user of Excel utilizing Pivot Tables, Sumif, vlookup, and other functions.
- Strong ERP experience, preferably Oracle.
- Team player with strong organization skills required.
- Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.

Expected Base Salary Range: $145,000 to $165,000. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
