Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Contracts organization. This role requires a recognized expert and thought leader who will manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage a team of contracts professionals for our growing Acoustic Systems Portfolio and provide expertise, guidance, training, and leadership to implement strategies to advance critical business objectives.
  • Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, change management and customer contract activities for assigned contracts / programs.
  • Lead Complex negotiations to develop overarching negotiation strategies and contract management strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Develop solutions to complex contracting issues while ensuring solutions are consistent with organization strategic and operational objectives.
  • Provide direction to team members to address and influence major contractual and business issues encountered in the proposal and execution of contracts of all types and complexity.
  • As Portfolio Lead, serve as contracts point of contract both internal and external to the organization


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or related field and minimum 9 years prior related experience or Graduate Degree with minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • 6+ Years' experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS and a wide range of contract types and efforts, e.g. CPFF, FFP, IF, AF, etc. development, production, engineering services, commercial and non-commercial, etc.
  • Must have active Secret clearance
  • Ability to travel when needed


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions with commercial and US Government customers.
  • Negotiation experience with FAR Part 15 programs.
  • Proven business negotiator while exercising sound judgement with experience engaging at high organizational levels or with persons of influence both internally and externally.
  • Highly developed critical thinking and communication skills with ability to influence and shape favorable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, team building and leadership skills, with the ability to perform in complex cross-functional business environments.
  • Expert knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations
  • Experience mentoring, leading and training junior staff members
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, statement of works, solicitations/RFPs, or government regulations
  • NCMA Certification CFCM, CPCM or CCCM (preferred / not required)


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $115K-$214K. For California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $133-$247K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
