About the Opportunity:The Senior Manager of Communications is responsible for shaping and elevating Pursuit Aerospace's narrative across internal and external audiences. This leader will develop a cohesive storytelling strategy that highlights Pursuit Aerospace's mission, values, technological innovation, and growth trajectory. They will serve as a key guardian of the company's voice, ensuring unified and impactful messaging across all communication channels.
Location: Remote, Travel is expected to be about 25% if remote, will be less if located in Connecticut
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that clearly articulates Pursuit Aerospace's story, culture, and long-term vision.
- Craft engaging narratives for executive communications, marketing materials, press releases, digital content, social media, and customer-facing messaging.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to position the company's brand, milestones, and transformation initiatives.
- Lead proactive storytelling efforts, identifying opportunities to highlight innovation, operations excellence, employee achievements, and strategic partnerships.
- Manage internal communications programs that strengthen employee engagement, alignment, and cultural cohesion.
- Oversee media relations strategy, including drafting press materials, coordinating interviews, and cultivating relationships with key industry outlets.
- Ensure consistent voice and message discipline across all internal and external channels.
- Partner with HR, Marketing, and Operations to support change management communications and narrative frameworks.
- Track communication performance metrics and continuously optimize content strategy.
- Manage communication tools, platforms, and resources to modernize and enhance reach and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or relevant field;
- 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably in aerospace, manufacturing, or technology-driven environments.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Working Conditions- Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
- Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
- Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
