The Senior Manager, Campaigns plays a pivotal role in enhancing Dechert's global profile by leading strategic marketing campaigns and developing impactful content. The role involves overseeing the creation of multi-channel campaigns that involve thought leadership, web content, videos, podcasts, social media posts and web announcements, as well as writing and editing content, developing channel distribution strategies, analyzing performance metrics to maximize impact and communicating results with stakeholders. More broadly, the Senior Manager will drive integrated best-practice marketing across the firm, maintaining a consistent voice and editorial standards while elevating the Marketing teams overall effectiveness.

Job Description

Campaign Management:

  • Develop, supervise, execute, monitor and measure global brand- and relationship-building campaigns, in collaboration with various offices, practices and Marketing colleagues.
  • Oversee the delivery of impactful content, providing editorial and creative feedback, and aligning across channels and cascading changes across team.
  • Manage campaign implementation timeline, stakeholder communication and adherence to marketing guidelines.
  • Establish, gather and analyze performance metrics for multiple distribution channels including web, email, social media, videos and podcasts, and digital advertising. Provide analysis, insights and recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support to lawyers on effective communication and marketing strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships across the firm, collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve an integrated approach to marketing and communications.
  • Compile regular reports on campaign performance and its implications on future programs.
  • Improve new campaigns using data and feedback from existing and previous projects.
  • Collaborate on the development of videos and podcasts that align with marketing priorities for assigned practices.
  • Review and edit content to ensure alignment with the firm's brand voice, editorial style guide and communication standards.

General:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the firm, including partners and senior marketing team members to ensure content and campaigns meet their needs and expectations.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  • Identify opportunities to use artificial intelligence to improve process efficiencies for the team and firm.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, identify new technology and ways of working in order to improve the firm's brand and overall marketing efforts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, including knowledge of Associated Press style.
  • Experience developing and managing multi-channel marketing communication campaigns.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate KPI data across distribution channels.
  • Proven ability to communicate about complex subject matters in a compelling way  preferably in legal, consulting or financial environments.
  • Comfort and competence with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate and delegate work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree with an emphasis on communications, journalism, public relations or English.
  • 8+ years of experience overseeing multi-channel marketing communications campaigns, preferably with a professional services firm.
  • Experience in law, professional services, financial services or asset management preferred.
  • Understanding of legal industry is a plus.
