Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute practice strategy across business license, tax registration, global entity management, corporate secretarial, and annual report services
  • Lead the development of go-to-market plans and multi-disciplinary pursuit teams for complex license, entity management and annual report services
  • Oversee the delivery of technology-enabled compliance services, leveraging entity management platforms and Power BI dashboards, in a global delivery model to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Provide senior-level technical guidance on complex multi-jurisdictional entity structuring and tax registration matters for key enterprise clients to help compliance and mitigate risk
  • Direct the continuous improvement of service delivery methodologies, using data analytics from SQL and MS Excel, to increase the scalability and profitability of managed services offerings
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing, inclusive team of onshore and offshore professionals through direct coaching and strategic career development initiatives to support practice succession planning
  • Manage practice-level financial performance, engagement economics, and KPMG-wide risk management protocols to help profitable, compliant, and high-quality service delivery
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment


Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in business license compliance, global entity management, or corporate secretarial services within a Big Four, consulting, law firm, or large corporate environment; minimum ten years of experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
  • Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, master's in Taxation, CMI, or SIX SGMA Green Belt, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, multi-jurisdictional client engagements and leading onshore and offshore delivery teams
  • Technical knowledge of U.S. business license requirements and global corporate governance frameworks
  • Hands-on experience using data analysis and query tools, such as MS Excel and SQL, to review complex client data and determine filing obligations; proficiency with business intelligence and project management tools, including Power BI and MS Project, for workflow management and client reporting
  • Demonstrated success growing a professional services practice through strategic business development, client relationship management, and revenue generation
