Ensures that funds are properly valued and accounted for via accurate measurement of securities prices and/or positions. Calculates daily net asset values (NAVs), monitors and posts cash flows, and effectively coordinates with custodian banks, prime brokers, and other service providers.

  • Ensures that NAV and reporting deliverables are met accurately and on time for assigned clients.
  • Reviews NAV calculations as required, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies.
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Assists with system testing for any changes.
  • Calculates Net Asset Value (NAV) per share on a daily basis of the assigned funds.
  • Reviews and processes transactions related to dividends, interest, corporate actions and trades instructed by traders/portfolio managers.
  • Reconciles and reviews trades, cash transactions and securities positions.
  • Accurately compiles account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reports.
  • Enters and verifies disbursements and receipts.
  • Oversees recording and payment routines for vendors and foreign affiliate accounts.
  • Prepares draft bills for approval and assists with finalization and reporting of invoices to clients and foreign affiliates.
  • Reconciles general ledgers to subsidiary ledgers and escalates for outages.
  • Reconciles bank statements on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis and communicates cash/trade/position outages with internal and external stakeholders; resolves outstanding fund accounting issues in a timely manner.
  • Reviews tolerance threshold breaks and escalates any issues.
  • Assists with tax compliance reporting.
  • Assists in the preparation of audit reports, financial statements and tax distribution calculation.
  • Prepares final daily/weekly/monthly NAV's within set client reporting deadlines.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment.
  • Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
  • Implements changes in response to shifting trends.

$94,600.00 - $176,000.00
