Full Job Description
Develop and execute audit strategies and procedures. Identify accounting and audit risks. Oversee the application of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards in the context of public accounting. Evaluate the work requirements of audits for clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Write audit reports and present findings to clients and upper management. Assess effectiveness of client audit processes and controls, and identify performance improvement opportunities. Provide technical guidance, training, and timely performance feedback to team members. Handle audit engagement billing, tracking financial performance against budget, collections, fee analysis, and new service development. Direct and lead audit engagements. Create business development opportunities and prepare audit proposals.
WORKSCHEDULE : 40 hours per week, M-F(9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
JOBREQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree or foreignequivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or arelated field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degreeor foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,Management, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience, out ofwhich 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Must have an active Pennsylvania CPAlicense.
Of the required experience, must have 3years of experience with the following: Overseeing audit engagements fromplanning through to completion; Supervising auditors during audit engagements;Supporting public audit engagements; Developing and executing audit strategiesand procedures; Applying U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)or International Standards for Financial Reporting (IFRS) in the context ofpublic accounting; Applying U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)or International Standards on Auditing (ISA) in the context of publicaccounting; Applying Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) AuditingStandards; SEC financial reporting issues, including SEC filings for publicaudit engagements; Reviewing results of accounting procedures; Managing auditengagement financials, including budgets and collections; and Communicatingwith clients' senior executives, upper management, and audit committeesthroughout the course of audit engagements.
Of the required experience, must have 3years of experience with the following: Performing audit procedures utilizingsoftware and data analytics tools, including at least 2 of the following:Alteryx, PowerBI, Appian, Mendix, UiPath, or ABBYY.
Travel to various locations throughout theU.S. required up to 5%.
Telecommuting may be permitted withincommutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.
