Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Assortment Activation, leads the strategic planning and execution of modular and relay initiatives to drive business objectives. This role ensures operational excellence by managing resources, mitigating risks, and maintaining execution quality across formats. Acting as a key liaison among cross-functional teams, the position aligns insights and priorities to optimize performance. The role also focuses on developing talent, fostering continuous improvement, and upholding high standards of integrity and collaboration to support Walmart's commitment to delivering value and exceptional customer experiences.
What you'll do...- Lead end-to-end planning, governance, and oversight of modular and relay initiatives to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
- Manage portfolio capacity and resource allocation to meet evolving business needs and seasonal priorities.
- Establish and enforce execution standards and best practices across store formats to drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Insights, Space, and Merchant teams to align decisions and clarify roles.
- Mentor and develop managers and associates to build leadership capabilities and promote continuous learning.
- Drive data analysis, risk mitigation, and process optimization to enhance execution quality and business outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, operations, or related area and 5 years' experience in retail operations, merchandising, or modular execution, including 2 years' experience leading teams or cross-functional programs.
Option 2: 7 years' progressive experience in retail operations, merchandising, or modular execution, with demonstrated leadership of large-scale relay/mod initiatives.
