Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la croissance et la performance des activités opérationnelles grâce à des initiatives de développement des affaires appuyées par une solide expertise technique. Évoluant au sein d'une organisation matricielle, vous dirigerez l'élaboration et la mise en œuvre de stratégies alignées sur les objectifs opérationnels de l'entreprise, la feuille de route manufacturière et les priorités d'affaires.

Vous dirigerez la préparation d'analyses de rentabilité reposant sur des fondements techniques et financiers rigoureux. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes d'ingénierie, de fabrication, de chaîne d'approvisionnement et de gestion de programmes afin d'assurer la réussite des initiatives de croissance des opérations. Le candidat idéal possède une vision stratégique, de solides capacités d'analyse ainsi qu'une expérience concrète en milieu manufacturier et technique, lui permettant de formuler des recommandations favorisant l'efficacité, la productivité et la compétitivité de l'organisation.

Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie, en gestion des opérations ou dans une discipline technique connexe, avec un minimum de sept années d'expérience dans un rôle similaire.
  • Expérience dans la contribution à des projets complexes comprenant des analyses financières et techniques approfondies, ainsi que de la gestion de contrats et de projets.
  • Solide compréhension des systèmes manufacturiers, des procédés industriels et des facteurs clés influençant la performance opérationnelle.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite en anglais. La maîtrise du français constitue un atout.
  • Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes, en analyse et en pensée critique.

Job Title: Senior Manager, Operations Business Development

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

You will play a key role in driving the growth and performance of operational activities through business development initiatives supported by strong technical expertise. Working within a matrix organization, you will lead the development and implementation of strategies aligned with the company's operational objectives, manufacturing roadmap, and business priorities.

You will lead the preparation of business cases supported by rigorous technical and financial analysis. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management teams to ensure the successful execution of operational growth initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, strong analytical capabilities, and hands-on experience in a manufacturing and technical environment, enabling them to provide actionable recommendations that enhance the organization's efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.

What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of seven years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience contributing to complex projects involving in-depth financial and technical analysis, contract management, and project management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, industrial processes, and key operational performance drivers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Fluency in French is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, perseverance, and versatility, combined with a strong business acumen.
  • Strong sense of ethics and respect.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace industry or other complex manufacturing sectors is a strong asset.
  • Occasional travel required.


This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
