What is the opportunity?

As Senior Manager, AI Product in the AI & Conversational Banking team within Digital and Personal Distribution (DPD), you will improve the advisor and client experience through innovative and nascent technologies used by our call centre advisors. You will be the Product Owner for AI product(s) and inform and execute against the Advice Centre AI roadmap. You will lead cross-functional teams/squad(s) through prioritization and implementation of critical transformational initiatives and will be responsible for the full cycle of product management activities, including scoping and discovery, risk assessments and reviews, product maintenance, strategy development, and execution.

What will you do?
  • Lead cross-functional teams/squad(s) and collaborate with partners on requirements gathering, prioritization, execution, and communication of projects and critical transformational activities
  • As product owner for key Advice Centre AI technologies and processes, be responsible for end-to-end product management, including scoping and discovery, risk assessments and reviews, product maintenance, strategy development, product design and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with Advice Centre, business, role design, product design, tech, data, and risk stakeholders to understand advisor / client needs / experience, complete analysis, define deliverables and requirements that meet client/business needs and expectations, and execute with pace
  • Gather requirements from others to ensure a clear understanding of initiatives and work with project team and partners to define testing, strategies/scripts, required data, and expected results
  • Identify product risk profile and promote innovative or improved methods to execute at pace, implementing best practices
  • Maintain a high level of communication standards across partner groups, serving as a Advice Centre AI product expert across the organization
  • Creatively manage through roadblocks
  • Ensure that all required sign-offs are obtained and that initiatives are within budget and deliver against productivity targets


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management within banking, financial services, or a related industry
  • 5+ years of experience leading and executing strategic projects, initiatives, or transformation programs
  • Experience with Project Management and/or Business Agility principles (e.g. Scrum, KanBan)
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, think outside the box, and identify process improvement opportunities to move at pace
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity, and demonstrated capability to lead/manage cross-functional partnerships
  • Experience developing technology and/or business strategy


Nice-to-have
  • Generative / agentic AI knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of digital channels or digital banking solutions
  • Knowledge of Advice Centre or Advice Centre technology
