The Product Innovation team infuses the lululemon apparel business with new ideas, new understanding, new technologies, & new products. With a diverse and passionate team of innovators, our leading human and material research infrastructure, and the pioneering Science of Feel innovation philosophy, the Product Innovation team ensures that lululemon remains at the forefront of the sport, exercise, and lifestyle apparel industry. We need you to lead a diverse portfolio of projects, develop your team, inspire the business, and ensure the delivery of a continuous stream of innovative concepts.

core responsibilities
  • Lead a diverse portfolio of innovation projects, ensuring high-quality research, effective cross-functional collaboration, and successful delivery of innovation outcomes.
  • Identify and shape future innovation opportunities by leveraging internal expertise and external networks to surface scientific advances, consumer shifts, and cultural trends relevant to the future of apparel.
  • Demonstrates research leadership through hands on ownership of individually led and delivered projects - ie leading by example.
  • As an applied scientist and innovator, comfortably move between ambiguity and execution-exploring loosely defined opportunities while bringing structure, rigor, and direction to complex
qualifications
  • Graduate degree (PhD preferred) in sports technology or related fields (e.g. kinesiology, biomechanics, engineering)
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, with clear evidence of transitioning research & innovation concepts into mainline businesses.
  • You have 3+ years of management experience, with demonstrated success in people development.
  • Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively & successfully deliver multiple, concurrent, cross-functional, multi-year innovation projects
  • Demonstrated ability in developing strategic visions & effectively

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$167,400 - 219,700 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
