How You'll Make an ImpactThe Regional Senior Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for developing and executing customer-facing strategies. The RSM is accountable to deliver sustainable business growth and meet financial targets through winning value propositions and ensuring a professional purchasing experience for our customers. In this role, The RSM is expected to leverage commercial excellence and value selling fundamentals to lead and develop his/her sales team and to successfully deliver sustained growth for Lubrizol and its customers. The RSM is expected to build and enhance strategic relationships with influential leaders of our customers, and be a valuable consultant / resource for those key relationships.
Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success- 5+ years in Sales, preferably in the lubricants or related industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
- 3+ years of business leadership experience working in cross-functional teams with accountability for managing and developing people.
- 3+ years in a role with direct responsibility and accountability for business profitability, with demonstrated ability to evaluate and execute opportunities that improve business results.
- Demonstrated success in building positive relationships and stakeholder management across multiple functions and geographic regions - internally and externally.
- Proven record of successful execution of value-selling methodologies, including the articulation of value propositions and respective quantification.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and negotiating skills.
- Proven commercial acumen and creativity.
- Capable of balancing/prioritizing multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understands finance fundamentals and income statement structure.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Science / Engineering, or related field
