Position Summary We are seeking an experienced
Senior Low Latency Java Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency trading applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Core Java, Market Data, Electronic Trading, FIX/Binary protocols, and low-latency system design. This role requires close collaboration with traders, business stakeholders, and global technology teams to build scalable, mission-critical trading solutions.
Required Skills - 8+ years of Core Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Low Latency and High-Performance systems.
- Experience in Electronic Trading, Capital Markets, or Market Data environments.
- Expertise in Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM Performance Tuning, and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol, Binary Protocols (SBE preferred), and TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Solace, or Aeron.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, Git, Maven, and CI/CD is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities - Design and develop low-latency, high-throughput Java applications.
- Build and enhance electronic trading and market data platforms.
- Optimize application performance for minimal latency and maximum throughput.
- Develop multithreaded, concurrent, and scalable solutions.
- Work with market data feeds, order routing, and client/exchange connectivity.
- Collaborate with Front Office, business users, and cross-functional technology teams.
- Participate in architecture, code reviews, testing, and production support.
