WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll be part of the Global Process Delivery team within People Solutions who are responsible for supporting employees through Leave of Absence and Accommodations under the ADAAA. This role reports to Sr. Manager, Global Process Delivery - Leaves & Accommodations, and partners closely with Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Total Rewards, People Solutions Advisory and Consulting, Business HR, and Technology Solutions teams to deliver seamless employee lifecycle experiences across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Leave and Accommodations professional with deep expertise in federal and state leave programs, disability accommodations, and complex employee case management. They possess a strong understanding of the intersection between leave laws, accommodation requirements, payroll processes, disability benefits, vendor administration, and employee experience, and can confidently navigate complex situations requiring sound judgment and risk-based decision making.

This individual is more than a case manager. They are a problem solver, process builder, and trusted advisor who thrives in ambiguity and can independently identify operational risks, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement. They have a demonstrated ability to evaluate existing ways of working, design scalable solutions, and implement sustainable process changes that improve compliance, efficiency, and service delivery.

The successful candidate combines deep subject matter expertise with strong analytical and consulting skills. They can interpret complex regulatory requirements, translate them into practical business processes, and influence partners across Legal, Compliance, Payroll, Total Rewards, Business HR, Technology, and vendor organizations. They are recognized as a trusted resource who can balance operational excellence with continuous improvement, helping drive a consistent, compliant, and employee-centered leave and accommodations experience.

You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • CLMS, CPDM, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar professional certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including 5+ years supporting complex leave of absence and workplace accommodation programs.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying federal leave and accommodation requirements, including FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, PWFA, USERRA, and state paid family and medical leave programs.
  • Proven experience managing complex and escalated employee situations requiring judgment, risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience identifying operational gaps, developing business requirements, creating standard operating procedures, and implementing process improvements that improve compliance, efficiency, or employee experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data, trends, audits, and case insights to identify root causes and drive operational improvements.
  • Experience partnering with Payroll, Legal, Compliance, HR Business Partners, Benefits, and third-party vendors in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience working with HRIS and case management platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, or similar systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex leave and accommodation concepts to diverse audiences.


WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You'll support and sustain leave of absence and accommodation processes that help employees navigate critical moments with clarity, consistency, and care. Your work will help ensure cases are managed accurately, compliantly, and in alignment with established service levels, while partnering with People Solutions, Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Total Rewards, Business HR, and Technology teams to support seamless employee experiences.
  • Manage complex leave of absence and accommodation cases escalated by third-party administrators, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant resolution.
  • Apply expert knowledge of federal leave and disability accommodation requirements, including FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, PWFA, USERRA, and applicable state leave laws, to support complex case resolution, policy interpretation, operational decisions, and process design.
  • Analyze and coordinate interactions between federal leave protections, state paid family and medical leave programs, company policies, disability benefits, payroll processes, and vendor administration to ensure consistent and compliant employee outcomes.
  • Communicate and consult with employees, managers, business leaders, Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Total Rewards, Business HR, and vendor partners to resolve complex leave and accommodation issues.
  • Build overall team capability through training, knowledge sharing, and documentation of action(s) taken on complex cases.
  • Review case trends, escalations, operational metrics, and employee feedback to identify root causes, process gaps, and service delivery risks.
  • Design, implement, document, and sustain process improvements, governance controls, and standard operating procedures that improve compliance, efficiency, and employee experience.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving process changes, system enhancements, vendor performance improvements, and operational transformation efforts.
  • Lead audit remediation activities, compliance reviews, and quality assessments, implementing corrective actions that strengthen process controls and mitigate operational risk.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and data integrity within Workday, ServiceNow, and related systems to support compliance, reporting, and payroll coordination.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for leave and accommodation programs, providing guidance on complex scenarios and influencing consistent execution across teams and stakeholders.
