Job DescriptionRH is seeking a Senior Distribution Center Leader who will develop and implement an effective receiving and transportation operation that minimizes cost and ensures shipments are processed accurately and promptly. This role will direct programs that ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan and schedule all Distribution services, including: receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner
- Ensure current and accurate inventory control of each product line in the Distribution Center
- Prepare Distribution Center budgeting
- Work in partnership with with Leadership to establish department and individual goals
- Plan long-range labor needs based on sales forecasts and input from Leadership
- Develop procedures to ensure the efficient operation, use, maintenance, cleaning and repair of all warehouse equipment
- Assure compliance with OSHA and MSDS regulations
- Audit operations to ensure service standards are being met
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience at the department leadership level
- WMS experience with KCS and/or PKMS preferred with knowledge of e-commerce and fulfillment operations
- Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel
- Exceptional leadership, mentoring, coaching and interpersonal skills with ability to build and foster teams
- Creative and innovative problem solver
- Strong analytical skills, with an emphasis on process improvement
- Previous experience with accountability for an entire function within a Distribution facility
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
