POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior / Lead Recruiter reports directly to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and provides day-to-day support and counsel in the following areas: administration of hiring, retention, and long-term staffing strategies. The Senior / Lead Recruiter helps ensure consistent application of policies and procedures and is often a primary point of contact for vendors, employees, contingent workers, external candidates, and governmental agency representatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Deliver full-cycle recruitment for exempt, nonexempt, and leadership positions to global and domestic client groups in Worldwide Trading, Commercial, Marketing, Corporate Security, Office Services and Facilities. Client groups may change depending on business needs. Provide recruiting support and guidance, including sourcing, interviewing candidates, extending employment offers, reviewing background checks and medical surveillance results to clear for hire date.
  • Works with the Talent Acquisition team, HR, and Business Leaders to prioritize and implement projects and programs in support of talent acquisition initiatives and ensure processes are followed consistently.
  • Utilize project management and process improvement skills to define, drive and meet new processes or project milestones. Develop project plans and schedules. Leads kick-off, requirements and other program planning and implementation meetings. Proactively communicates issues, risks, and proposed solutions in a timely manner.
  • Partners with managers, team leaders and others to identify and implement recruitment strategies to accomplish our goal of recruiting quality talent.
  • Participates in recruitment and employment processes to include diversity outreach programs, college and university recruitment to support the apprenticeship and intern programs, as assigned.
  • Coordinates recruiting events, provides status reports, tracks costs, and creates metrics for management, as assigned.
  • Provides the interpretation and administration of company policies, programs, procedures and compliance with applicable state/federal statutes and regulations.
  • Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of talent acquisition related training programs, if applicable.
  • Establishes and maintains employee data using orc
  • Recruiting Cloud (ORC) and other system applications as needed.
  • Maintains and enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Measures the effectiveness of talent acquisition activities as required by local management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

In-depth knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration and policy is required to minimize legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance, including a strong understanding of the employment process. General knowledge of maintenance, record, and reporting requirements; document management methodologies and procedures and automated HRIS system applications is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and measure program metrics.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder and project management experience with the ability to execute plans, identify resource needs, manage milestones and dependencies, effectively resolve problems, and drive for results.
  • Portrays administrative and documentation skills, extremely detail-orientated, and proficiency with reporting tools and databases.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment and be an excellent representative of the Company externally and internally.
  • Process-oriented with the ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks with a high-level of detail, allocate and optimize resources, and manage timelines; able to take things from start to finish.
  • Possesses exemplary written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills, along with a strong customer-focused orientation and highly developed ability to build relationships and strategic alliances with management to implement change solutions.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education, Training and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field (strongly preferred). SHRMP-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Experience:
  • Senior: Minimum five (5) years of applicable experience as a Recruiter.
  • Lead: Minimum eight (8) years of applicable experience as a Recruiter.
    • Preferred experience for both levels:
      • Experience as a Corporate Recruiter within the Oil & Gas/Energy industry
      • Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) ATS

As a front-facing Human Resources contact for employees and external candidates and other groups, the Senior / Lead Recruiter must exercise discretion independently.

WORK CONDITIONS
  • Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.
  • Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • Periodically travel as business requires.
  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.
