Job Description

As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community banking, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing our contact center platform by migrating from on-premises solutions to Amazon Connect. You will leverage your expertise in AWS, telephony, and networking to deliver high-quality architecture solutions, influence product design and drive operational excellence. Your work will directly impact customer experience and business outcomes, while collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Job responsibilities
  • Represent technical governance bodies for contact center modernization
  • Provide feedback and propose improvements to architecture governance practices
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior architects and engineers
  • Guide evaluation of current and emerging technologies, with a focus on cloud and AWS solutions
  • Regularly provide technical guidance and direction to business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Develop secure and high-quality production code; review and debug code written by others
  • Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud contact center architecture, telephony, and networking
  • Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices
  • Influence peers and project decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

  • Deep knowledge of software architecture and technical processes, especially in cloud environments
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
