Description
This position serves as a Long Range Kill Chain Senior Analyst for the Agile Weapons Division of the Air Force Armament Directorate, (AFLCMC/EBX) located at Eglin AFB, FL, capable of leading a system-of-system integration efforts and associated meetings, including component development, requirements management, test design and coordination, troubleshooting sub-nominal efforts, and frequent briefings to Program Office leadership as well as support and coordination to all multi-service platform Program Offices employing the associated long-range weapons.
The position will provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME), warfare analysis, mission integration, Modeling & Simulation (M&S) support and kill chain assessments, acquisition analysis/support, test design/planning/reporting and analytic program support to the U.S. Air Force.
Applicants should possess a broad spectrum of knowledge of Air Force long range strike aviation platforms regarding convention weapon integration efforts as well as mission planning systems/techniques to ensure a seamless transition to operational capability. The ability to team with a diverse set of current and new customers, as well as fostering synergistic relationships, is crucial for success in this role.
Key Tasks
- Communicate regularly with USSF and USAF tactics centers for most current TTPs.
- Plan, organize, and execute long range kill chain test and acquisition events.
- Represent the program office at various Joint working groups. Provide technical expertise on precisions strike sensors and weapons. Provide written and verbal reports to system developers on potential changes to systems enabling maximum combat effectiveness.
- Coordinate and integrate supporting systems critical to Joint Air Dominance weapons acquisition including command and control, ISR, communications, weapons, and platform interfaces.
- Coordinate and advise on the integration of future technologies to include but not limited to special access required components and waveforms.
- Design, integrate, plan, and report on strategic test opportunities for large force and component level test supporting program offices goals.
- Execute modeling and simulation-based test and analysis.
- Develop and refine technical mission planning, operations, and sustainment requirements for strategic multidomain systems for the Service Major Commands and Combatant Command across multiple services, joint uniform commands, and geographic regions.
- Coordinate and direct a whole of community effort for RDTE, modeling, and prototyping to include UARC, FFRDC, and key technology maturation program offices.
- Advise in the advocacy and execution of short term and long-term funding.
- Develop strategic plan for organizational development and education of warfighter tactics and current systems.
- Assist the Program Manager and Requirements Officer with the management of the System requirement documents and other applicable acquisition documents.
Required Qualifications
- Recent tactical bomber or C2 operational experience
- Multiple years in leading M & S validation and verification.
- Knowledge of DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes
- Service or Joint level staff experience focus on acquisition and special programs.
- 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- DoD Acquisition certification in test and/or program management
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
- Active Top Secret Clearance: SAP/SCI Eligible
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting joint weapon programs/platform acquisition program office
- Graduate of Fighter Weapons School or Test Pilot School
- Experience as a Service Level PEM/RO or Joint Staff
- Technical Degree, PMP, MBA, or other advanced degree
