Solenis is seeking a driven and experienced
Senior Key Account Manager to oversee a large refinery account in Texas. This role is ideal for a technical sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships, delivering value-added solutions, and driving business growth in industrial water treatment.
What You'll Do- Manage a key refinery account, developing strong customer relationships through proactive, value-added technical service.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within the account while prospecting for new business using consultative selling techniques.
- Review and optimize water treatment programs and processes (cooling systems, boilers, wastewater treatment), ensuring effectiveness through routine monitoring, testing, and program adjustments.
- Oversee on-site inventory management, including coordinating chemical orders, deliveries, and proper stock levels.
- Maintain and grow revenue through strategic account management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and manage site priorities and projects, ensuring service delivery meets Solenis standards and customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain feed systems, dosing equipment, and utility systems in the field.
- Conduct regular business reviews, prepare and present technical reports, and lead customer meetings with clear, data-driven insights.
What You'll Bring- Proven experience in industrial water treatment sales, with strong knowledge of boiler, cooling, and/or wastewater systems.
- Demonstrated success managing large industrial or refinery accounts.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $88,850.00 and $130,317.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
