Roles and Responsibility
We are looking for a Senior Backend Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, API Integration, Azure Cloud, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security of enterprise applications.
Required Skills
• Experience in backend application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with API development and integration.
• Expertise in performance tuning, application optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
• Strong database skills with SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging platforms (Kafka).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance Microservices-based architectures for scalable and resilient solutions.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through efficient design and coding practices.
• Work with Azure Cloud services for application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Design and optimize database solutions using SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and implement best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical design discussions.
Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
