Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and Stored Procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise application development and Agile environments, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.

The candidate will work with modern Java and Spring technologies to develop microservices and REST APIs while supporting database development and integration. Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred.

Required Skills
• Minimum 7 to 8 years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong hands on experience with Core Java
• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• Hands on experience with Microservices architecture
• Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Strong SQL development skills
• Hands on experience with Stored Procedures
• Experience developing enterprise applications
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong understanding of backend application development and software engineering principles
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative development environment

Preferred Skills
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience developing and deploying cloud based applications
• Experience working with complex enterprise application environments
• Experience with cloud based microservices architectures

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise scale Java applications
• Develop robust backend solutions using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Design and develop Microservices based applications
• Develop and maintain REST APIs for enterprise applications
• Design and implement scalable application components and services
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and Stored Procedures
• Integrate backend applications with relational databases
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and database related issues
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other project stakeholders
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability
• Support application deployment and troubleshooting across development and production environments
• Leverage Microsoft Azure services and cloud technologies where applicable
• Follow established software development standards, coding practices, and Agile methodologies
• Contribute to application performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability

Education Requirement
• Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
