Overview 

We are seeking a Senior ITS Engineer III to join our Orlando, FL team, leading ITS and Traffic Engineering projects in Florida and nationally.

Your role 

This position delivers technical leadership across ITS, traffic signal, lighting, and transportation systems projects — from preliminary design through construction. You’ll drive project delivery, support staff development, and serve as a key technical resource for clients and project teams.

  • Lead ITS, traffic signal, and lighting projects through all design and construction phases.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, including preparation of design documents and study reports.
  • Design, deploy, test, and support ITS systems including DMS, CCTV, traffic detectors, and communications infrastructure (fiber and wireless).
  • Contribute to signal design, intersection improvements, lighting design, and systems integration.
  • Develop technical solutions aligned with client needs, project requirements, and applicable standards.
  • Support testing, verification, and acceptance activities for ITS system implementations.
  • Mentor junior staff and support their technical growth.
  • Serve in project management or deputy PM roles on major transportation projects, as applicable.

About you

Additional information 

Expected compensation range is between $155,000 - $165,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
