Position Summary The IT Support Technician provides frontline technical support to end users and ensures the reliable operation of end-user computing systems, devices, and basic network infrastructure. This role is responsible for onboarding/offboarding, asset management, and Tier 1-2 helpdesk support, along with assisting in physical infrastructure deployments such as cabling and workstation setup.
Key Responsibilities - Provide Tier 1-2 helpdesk support for hardware, software, and user issues
- Perform employee onboarding and offboarding:
- Account provisioning (e.g., Microsoft Entra / M365)
- Device setup (laptops, mobile devices, peripherals)
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues
- Install, configure, and maintain standard business applications
- Manage IT assets:
- Inventory tracking (e.g., Snipe-IT or equivalent)
- Device lifecycle management
- Support endpoint management platforms (e.g., Intune or similar)
- Assist with patching and basic security compliance tasks
- Install and maintain network cabling (Cat6, fiber as needed)
- Rack and stack basic network and IT equipment
- Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and configurations
- Escalate complex issues to higher-tier support or engineering teams
Required Qualifications - 5+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments
- Familiarity with:
- Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
- Endpoint management (Intune or similar)
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS)
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to install and terminate network cabling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in secure or regulated environments (e.g., GCCH, CMMC, ITAR)
- Familiarity with asset management systems (e.g., Snipe-IT)
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
Our office headquarters is located in Playa Vista, CA. This position requires in office presence.The California annual base salary for this role is currently $40 - $54 an hour. Pay Grades are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and internal equity.
