Full Job Description
Surepoint is currently seeking a Senior IT Manager - Business Systems to lead the governance, configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's business application ecosystem. Serving as the strategic bridge between Operations, Finance, Technology, and external software vendors, this role ensures all core enterprise applications align seamlessly with business processes and strategic goals.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as the business lead for major software initiatives, driving the roadmap for technology modernization.
  • Lead the end-to-end evaluation, vendor selection, and implementation of enterprise software applications.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure all technology investments directly support operational efficiency, scalability, and financial strategy.
  • Oversee the administration, security, configuration, and governance of core ERP and CRM platforms.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize integrations across the application ecosystem to ensure smooth data flow and functional cohesion.
  • Analyze cross-functional workflows to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Standardize data governance framework and manage Master Data Management (MDM) across systems to preserve data integrity.
  • Support and expand the business intelligence (BI) and reporting ecosystem, enabling accurate financial, operational, and executive analytics.
  • Manage software vendors, contract negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), and external consulting partners.
  • Direct user adoption strategies, change management protocols, training programs, and ongoing tier-2/tier-3 application support.
  • Actively participate in the company's health and safety program.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT/Business Systems management, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership or direct management capacity.
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-grade ERP and CRM implementations and governance.
  • Strong understanding of core financial processes (GL, AP/AR, revenue recognition, financial reporting) and how software systems mirror financial workflows.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional software projects.
  • Familiarity with modern middleware, APIs, and data integration platforms.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear, actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and employees as well as cross functionally.
