Job DescriptionThe OpportunityBuild the Future with UsJoin WSP's National Capital Region Technology team and play a key role in delivering innovative IT, security, and integrated technology solutions for major infrastructure projects across the region. Based in our Queensview Drive office and reporting to the Manager, Building Technologies, you'll lead the delivery of complex technology projects while helping clients create smarter, safer, and more connected facilities.
Your Impact- Lead the design and delivery of IT cabling infrastructure, network systems, and integrated technology solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Develop technology master plans, concept designs, schematic designs, detailed designs, and construction documentation that support project success.
- Manage multidisciplinary technology projects through planning, coordination, tendering, construction administration, and closeout.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, proposals, and client presentations that communicate complex concepts with clarity.
- Collaborate with local and national Technology teams and other disciplines across WSP to deliver integrated solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements throughout project delivery and business development activities.
- Contribute to WSP's quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion a strong health and safety culture by adhering to site requirements and embracing WSP's Life Saving Rules.
The Skills That Set You Apart- RCDD designation is required.
- Experience designing and delivering IT cabling infrastructure, network systems, and technology solutions within the built environment.
- CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant networking certifications would be considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of security systems, audiovisual systems, and other building technologies is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing large and complex security or technology infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical writing skills, including reports, specifications, proposals, and bid submissions.
- Experience interpreting and developing technical drawings, diagrams, and project documentation.
- Ability to obtain a Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 SECRET security clearance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically to project sites as required.
Compensation:AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,000 - $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
