Key Responsibilities- Leads security engineering and/or assessment support for complex systems.
- Guides categorization, control implementation, secure architecture, SSP technical content, data flows, remediation strategies, assessment readiness, and continuous monitoring.
- Provides technical thought leadership, mentoring, and process improvement to strengthen quality, scalability, and team performance.
Required Qualifications- Active Top Secret clearance (Must meet applicable security, clearance, training, background, facility-access, and polygraph requirements)
- Master's Degree in one of the following disciplines (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering) OR one of the following Certifications (CCNP Enterprise, CISM, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GDSA, GICSP, CCISO, CISA, CySA+, GSLC, GSNA)
Required Technical Experience - Advanced proficiency aligned to Security Architect (652/612) of DOD 8140 requirements
- 8+ years in secure design, analysis and testing
- 8+ years applying security safeguards, methods, and standards
- 8+ years creating or updating security test plans
Preferred Technical Experience - Cloud certification/experience
- DOJ RMF/SAA
- Advanced JCAM/Xacta
- Technical Team Leadership
- Complex control-gap remediation
- Secure data-flow design
- FISMA/audit support
