Responsibilities

  • Lead processing of cash and non-cash transactions in the loan servicing application.
  • Ensure timely and accurate lender remittances and reporting for various lender types, including CMBS and Agency reporting.
  • Facilitate fund delivery to external clients and third parties as needed.
  • Complete system balancing and manage cash exceptions and cash functions.
  • Conduct daily operations account reviews, especially for high-volume DDA’s.
  • Review billing for all Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) loans for accuracy.
  • Oversee billing for all Bond loans to ensure correctness.
  • Maintain accurate records for autodraft payments and excess rent refunds.
  • Oversee the opening and closing of bank accounts, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
  • Update policies and procedures as necessary.

The Senior Investor Accounting and Reporting (IAR) Manager will lead teammates as they post payment and disbursement transactions to the loan servicing application and timely remit and report all required payments in accordance with lender agreements. The Senior IAR Manager will also ensure that daily balancing and loan accounting functions are completed timely and accurately. The Senior IAR Manager may also participate in the following activities as assigned: business systems management, vendor management, model risk management and information management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Lead teammates as they process cash and non-cash transactions in the loan servicing application.
  • Ensure all lender remittances and corresponding reporting for all lender types is completed timely and accurately, including all IRP reporting (CMBS) and Agency reporting (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA).
  • Lead the delivery of funds to external clients and other third parties as required.
  • Ensure completion of system balancing, clearing cash exceptions and cash management functions.
  • Ensure completion of daily operations account reviews as well as daily reviews on high-volume DDA’s.
  • Ensure the review of all Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) loans to ensure accurate billing.
  • Ensure the review of all Bond loans to ensure accurate billing.
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate records for autodraft payments and excess rent refunds.
  • Ensure oversight in the opening and closing of bank accounts.
  • Ensure Updating of Policies and Procedures as needed.
