About the Role:

As a CBRE Sr. Investment Sales Analyst, you will be responsible for the underwriting and analysis of retail and mixed-use shopping centers, market research, production of offering materials, preparation of broker opinions of value (BOVs) and proposals (RFPs), management of due diligence materials, and ownership and communication of property-level details and underwriting specifics.

You will be supporting a national investment sales team that represents investors in the selling of retail commercial real estate.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee the underwriting process from start to finish, communicating with clients to obtain pertinent information and presenting results internally and externally.
  • Interface with clients, local market partners and other internal groups to complete tasks in a team-oriented setting.
  • Review leasing, governance, and operational documents, financial reports, title documents, surveys, environmental reports, and physical inspections, documenting and communicating key findings.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication by proactively reporting project status updates, effectively delivering complex information, and escalating issues to Producers and other key project stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain database of market transactions and demonstrate knowledge of market conditions, retailer activity, and legislation that may affect the retail real estate industry.
  • Draft correspondence to existing and prospective clients, representing CBRE with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real Estate Salesperson license required.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling both in Excel and ARGUS Enterprise required. Experience underwriting retail properties preferred.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and a strong grasp of standard financial principles, techniques, and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve complex problems with a high level of care.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the technical expertise to apply appropriate judgment and precedents and drive positive and creative outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to management multiple projects concurrently.
