Senior Lead, Intranet Technology & ExperienceWe are seeking a Senior Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our next-generation intranet. Reporting to the Web Manager, this role sits at the intersection of technology, user experience, and internal communications, with a strong emphasis on building scalable, well-integrated digital foundations that enable great employee experiences.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex integration challenges, modernizing platforms, and translating technical decisions into seamless, intuitive experiences for employees.
What You'll Do- Lead the design and evolution of the intranet's technical architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with UX, content, and communications leads to translate employee needs into technical solutions
- Define integration patterns and standards across enterprise systems (e.g., M365, identity management, search, content repositories)
- Partner with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise technology standards
- Own the technical connections between the intranet and the firm's digital ecosystem
- Ensure seamless data flows, consistent user identity, and intuitive cross-platform experiences
- Anticipate future integration needs and design with extensibility in mind
- Champion performance, accessibility, and reliability as core components of employee experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform or integration issues that impact users
- Lead technical delivery across intranet enhancements and releases
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and vendors to support intranet evolution
- Establish best practices for documentation, technical governance, and long-term maintainability
- Create strong governance frameworks that keep content relevant at scale
What You'll Bring - 10+ years of experience in marketing & communications technology
- User-first thinker who believes good architecture enables great experiences
- Strong experience in digital platforms, intranets, or enterprise web ecosystems. Experience with Microsoft systems including SharePoint, Viva Engage, Co-Pilot preferred.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to get excited about engaging with the platform
- Deep understanding of system integrations, APIs, identity, search, and content platforms
- Comfort translating between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Pragmatic problem-solver who knows when to innovate and when to standardize
- Collaborative partner who enjoys working across IT, internal communications, and business teams
- Experience working within large, complex organizations
