Your Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our collaborative and creative team in our Downtown Dallas, Texas office. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of project types, including corporate commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and other design-driven environments. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative setting and is eager to contribute to sophisticated, design-forward work.

This role includes opportunities to demonstrate design leadership, driving design direction, guiding key decisions, and collaborating closely with clients and project teams to ensure a cohesive and thoughtful design vision is carried out through every phase of the work.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in interior design from project inception through construction and closeout
  • Lead programming, space planning, and concept development in coordination with other team members
  • Translate design concepts into cohesive interior environments aligned with architectural intent and client goals
  • Support design documentation including plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
  • Research, select, and specify materials, finishes, lighting, fixtures, furnishings (FF&E), art, and accessories
  • Develop finish palettes, FF&E packages, and presentation materials
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, product representatives, furniture dealers, and vendors to ensure alignment with design intent, budget, and schedule
  • Stay current on emerging materials, products, and industry trends
  • Work collaboratively with architects, interior designers, consultants, and external partners
  • Coordinate with lighting designers, engineers, contractors, fabricators, and specialty consultants
  • Lead client presentations and incorporate feedback throughout the design process
  • Assist with maintaining project schedules and interior design deliverables
  • Support the FF&E procurement process, including specifications, pricing coordination, and vendor communication
  • Participate in installation coordination, punch walks, and final styling as required
  • Help ensure quality control and adherence to design intent through fabrication and installation


Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Demonstrate desire to lead collaborative interior design teams, supporting the management of client relationships and all phases of project delivery under the guidance of the Interior Design Director
  • Architect or Interior Design license preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of interior construction, detailing, and FF&E documentation
  • Familiarity with building codes, accessibility standards, and industry best practices

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited university
  • 8 or more years of professional interior design experience preferred, ideally within an architecture or multidisciplinary design firm

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
