Full Job Description
We are looking for an Innovation Project Manager to lead warehouse optimization initiatives that enhance efficiency and productivity. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in warehouse operations, project management, and technology implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating, piloting, and deploying automation/productivity solutions, as well as working cross-functionally to drive process improvements. Responsibilities • Lead and manage multiple warehouse productivity and automation projects simultaneously, from scoping through implementation • Build, maintain, and continuously improve/automate executive-level reporting and data tracking, ensuring accuracy and relevance for leadership decision-making • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful execution • Partner with warehouse teams to standardize processes across sites, and train onsite teams on new SOPs, tools, and workflows • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, engineering, and third-party vendors to drive project success • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with vendors to support automation initiatives • Serve as a client-facing point of contact with our parent company, representing project status and outcomes • Analyze project performance data, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies • Analyze current warehouse layouts, workflows, and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements • Communicate project updates, key findings, and recommendations to leadership clearly and concisely • Operate with urgency, moving quickly across multiple concurrent projects without sacrificing accuracy Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent experience • 6+ years of relevant experience in service Logistics, warehouse & 3PL operations within the logistics industry preferred • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and warehouse management systems (WMS/TMS). Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position. The base pay range for this role is between $90k ~ $140k / year and your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
