As part of the Technology team, the Senior Infrastructure Support II will focus on the technological side of change, including changes to system processes, infrastructure/application systems and technologies. The role will also create and deliver strategies and plans to help employees maximize the adoption of innovative programs utilizing effective communication/troubleshooting skills. Essential Functions:
- Be an integral part of continually improving our infrastructure architecture as technology, industry standards, and best practices continue to evolve.
- Participate in audits & security reviews, providing required IT documentation and/or information.
- Perform technical troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions to determine the best solutions based on the issue.
- Maintain documentation (Runbooks, How To, SOPs, etc.) and seek opportunities within the department to improve operational awareness and efficiencies.
- Drive adoption for continuous improvements and proficiency of changes within the organization in accordance ITIL Framework.
- Develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment and communications to ensure the timely execution of the Tech Operations teams' objectives.
- Ability to perform regular and routine maintenance activities in accordance with Compliance and Regulatory guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and maintain the infrastructure that our environment runs on.
- Assist the team with implementations both on premises as well as in the cloud.
- Lead/facilitate meetings with clients to ensure an understanding of the current company culture and goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Assist management in leading the team and aligning to company goals for all members of the Infrastructure team.
- Implement Troubleshoot and Deploy assets and solutions to the cloud environments
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. BA or BS Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the Information Technology Industry.
- Certifications from leading vendors such as CompTIA, Cisco, AWS, or Microsoft are preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced AWS networking components (VPC Peers, AWS Direct Connect, ELB and API Gateways), including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, ARP tables, and subnets.
- The position requires minimal travel. Occasional travel requirements may be subject to overnight depending on the company needs.
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds and sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Collaborator that can collaborate with other teams in the organization.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong people skills, in addition to effective customer interaction skills.
- Some familiarity with Cloud Technology (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of Active Directory and basic Microsoft applications.
- Ability to work well under deadlines and in a demanding environment.
- Familiarity with the principles and practice of configuration management and change control.
- Ability to design, implement and maintain automation and monitoring processes.
- At least 2 years windows server administration experience
- Good understanding of the TCP/IP stack and networking
- Minimum of two years' experience in leading a team.
CFC offers a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two (2) remote workdays (Monday and Friday)
