We are pleased to announce the opening for a Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer who will join our Mission Engineering team at the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC) / On-site and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for facility and mission infrastructure sustainment, asset management, and engineering verification and validation.
Responsibilities:- Conduct rigorous criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance, upgrades, and security protocols based on direct mission impact
- Analyze asset lifecycles, tracking system obsolescence, and evaluating physical vulnerabilities
- Ensure optimal resource allocation and maximum system resilience
- Provide analytical and technical support to directly enable facility leadership to protect, sustain, and modernize high-value infrastructure projects
- Lead comprehensive asset identification and asset management initiatives, including conducting formal physical inventory and reconciliation across the facility
- Review and conduct obsolescence assessments and analysis in coordination with Project Management, the O&M Contractor, and mission partners to proactively mitigate aging infrastructure risks
- Perform ongoing maintenance and updates to the MDIOC Systems Engineering (SE) processes to reflect all Government-approved changes
- Compile, Inform, and assist MDIOC Facility Systems Engineers of required SE process updates as a result of Infrastructure Support Engineering process changes
- Using sound engineering principals and best practices, provide rapid response solutions to issues, conduct site surveys, and perform design reviews of critical infrastructure
- Leads all MDIOC Facility System sustainment and verification & Validation (V&V) activities to include test plans, procedures, outcomes, resource coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Execute test procedures, perform data collection, analyze test data, document anomalies, and draft comprehensive test reports.
- Design and lead execution of test procedures for all V&V activities
- Perform data collection, analyze test data, document findings and complete comprehensive reports based on analysis of data
- Maintain an engineering activity reporting tool/dashboard, generating and distributing weekly engineering activity reports
- Conduct quarterly stakeholder interviews to assess future infrastructure and mission needs.
Basic Qualifications:- You must have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution.
- You will need at least 7 years of full-time professional experience.
- You must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret clearance.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.
Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.Preferred Qualifications:- Proven experience driving organizational change management and challenging established norms to implement new technical initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to design, stand up, and execute new engineering governance structures from inception rather than only maintaining legacy processes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, facilities management, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in asset identification and management, including physical inventories and lifecycle analyses.
- Experience performing obsolescence assessments and developing modernization strategies for aging infrastructure in a Government, defense, or high-tempo operational environment.
- Hands-on experience with Engineering, Sustainment, Verification & Validation (ESV&V) processes, including test plan development and execution.
- Experience preparing technical reports, tracking dashboards, and briefings for leadership or Government customers.
- Strong analytical skills supporting criticality assessments and physical vulnerability evaluation.
- Experience coordinating across multiple organizations and balancing competing operational priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to climb a ladder, work beneath elevated floor areas, and lift 40 pounds.
