Full Job Description
The Senior Implementation Coordinator leads the implementation of new and existing growth and strategic clients for Availity's Essentials Pro products, with a specialized focus on payer enrollment, product training, and change management.

This role partners closely with Implementation Project Managers, Implementation Leadership, Product Management, and client stakeholders to ensure complex implementations are delivered on time, within defined scope, and with a strong adoption experience. The Senior Implementation Coordinator will support large clients with annual contract values of $200K and above by leading enrollment and training workstreams, creating tailored implementation plans, facilitating stakeholder meetings, identifying risks, and helping clients successfully integrate Essentials Pro into their existing workflows.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or 4 years of implementation experience within a healthcare organization.


  • Bring at least 3 years of specialized experience with payer enrollments or training and change management for large healthcare organizations.


  • Have 2 years of experience supporting healthcare software or at least 1 year of experience working for a clearinghouse.


  • Bring 2 years of prior authorization, physician practice management, and/or professional or hospital billing experience.


  • Have experience working with one or more practice management systems, electronic medical records, and/or radiology information software systems.


  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build alignment with both internal teams and client stakeholders.


  • Are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and effective in a fast-paced implementation environment.


  • Use strong time management skills to keep project plans, milestones, deliverables, and client commitments on track.

  • Experience with Salesforce.


  • Experience with Epic.


  • Experience with EDI enrollment processes.


  • A strong understanding of payer enrollment, healthcare workflows, clearinghouse operations, or client-facing implementation best practices.


You will be:

  • Driving end-to-end deployment processes for assigned clients while ensuring a successful implementation experience and strong client satisfaction.


  • Serving as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle and facilitating key stakeholder meetings to maintain momentum and alignment.


  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, deadlines, success metrics, and comprehensive project records.


  • Leading Essentials Pro product demonstrations, guided enrollment sessions, training programs, and change management activities for enterprise clients.


  • Conducting business reviews, workflow impact assessments, and gap analyses to customize implementation and training models around client needs.


  • Monitoring enrollment and training timelines, identifying risks or delays, escalating challenges as needed, and supporting go-live preparation and launch.


  • Partnering with Implementation Analysts, Product Management, and internal teams to coordinate technical deployment tasks, address custom requests, and enhance documentation.


  • Maintaining data accuracy, monitoring data quality metrics, performing audits, and sharing best practices that improve consistency and effectiveness across implementations.
