Cloud computing continues to allow us to modernize and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue next-generation innovation. To continue this transformation, we're seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure cloud engineer with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of web-based and mobile application projects in the cloud.
The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud-based tech, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and the ability to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient. Extensive knowledge of cloud maintenance and advanced industry knowledge is key to keeping us on the cutting edge. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our projects
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of thoughtful design and security
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with security guidelines for our company and US government customers
• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy Azure applications at the direction of application architects and software partners
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for Azure solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Must be a US Citizen and able to work with US Government agencies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience in computer science, information technology, or mathematics
• 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Azure platforms
• Understanding of and experience with well-architected frameworks
• Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, web architecture, knowledge of web services, API, and REST, deploy virtual machines, working with the container and serverless technologies
• Experience with Azure Data Factory including ADF Objects, ADF pipeline, and integration runtime
• Proven ability to be collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts
• Successfully deliver high-quality projects while working in teams following Agile frameworks.

• Good time management skills
• Pick up on new technologies quickly
• Must be willing to travel to job sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• Azure certifications are a plus
• Experience working with VPCs connected to corporate networks is a plus
• Experience working with Azure Gov and GCC High is a plus
• Experience with SQL in Azure and Azure Data Lake is desirable along with DAX, SQL, Excel, and Power BI
• Experience working with high-compliance, Government computing security frameworks like FedRAMP and CMMC is a bonus
