Senior Hydrogeologist comes with the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule and will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Join a dynamic team of professionals committed to delivering high quality hydrogeological and environmental services.
- Further develop your knowledge and technical skills in hydrogeology through challenging projects.
- Engage in both field and office-based hydrogeology work on projects such as tailings and water storage dams, mine water management, dewatering, water supply, contaminant hydrogeology and other environmental and engineering applications.
- Conduct groundwater and hydrochemical analysis and modelling.
- Provide input and be recognized for your contributions to the team and projects.
- Broaden your professional practice by working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects while maintaining your focus in hydrogeology.
What we require:We respect the knowledge and experience you have gained to date and are willing to help you build on it. We do however require the following qualifications:
- A degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Geological engineering, with a track record of continued development
- At least fifteen years' experience in hydrogeology including related to tailings and water storage dams, mine water management, dewatering, water supply, contaminant hydrogeology.
- Experience designing, installing and field testing of wells for water supply projects, aquifer feasibility studies, dewatering / depressurization and monitoring projects.
- Experience in implementing and undertaking groundwater and environmental monitoring and sampling programs.
- Working knowledge of industry standard software packages including: AQTESOLV, AquiferTest, Surfer, AquaChem, Geochemist's Workbench, RockWorks and GIS software.
- Eligibility to become professionally registered in Canada.
- An ability to build relationships with multidisciplinary project-based teams.
- Experience in a safety focused environment with near miss and incident reporting requirements

The salary for this position is $125,000 to $160,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
