Job Summary

As our Senior HR Business Partner, Talent Development, you'll shape how our workforce learns; turning business priorities, new technologies, and evolving processes into training and development experiences that improve performance and keep teams mission-ready. You'll own learning programs end-to-end, partnering closely with leaders and employees to strengthen capability, consistency, and culture across the organization. In partnership with the HR Leader, you'll also contribute to key HR generalist work that supports engagement, communication, and operational excellence.

Essential Functions

  • Lead end-to-end learning solutions, from needs assessment and solution selection through design, facilitation, and measurement, to strengthen performance and readiness.
  • Partner with leaders and employees to identify training needs tied to changing procedures, business initiatives, and technologies, ensuring learning stays relevant and actionable.
  • Coach and advise managers and employees on performance, career development, and succession planning as a trusted HR business partner.
  • Build career development plans with managers and employees, surfacing talent risks and growth opportunities that improve retention and bench strength.
  • Deliver a strong employee experience by supporting onboarding and new hire orientation and aligning training schedules to hiring and business priorities.
  • Ensure consistent, compliant HR execution by interpreting policies/procedures, supporting HRIS transactions, and reinforcing mission, values, and culture.
  • Use data and feedback to improve impact, maintaining training records and contributing to effectiveness measurement and reporting.
  • Manage vendors and learning logistics as needed, coordinating resources, schedules, and delivery details for approved training requests.
  • Prepare accurate statistical, audit, and compliance reports for internal teams and external/regulatory stakeholders (for example: DCAA, AS9100, OSHA, and auditors).
  • Work closely with payroll and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate, compliant employee support


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, plus 5+ years of HR experience with an emphasis on talent development (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
  • Strong working knowledge of HR fundamental principles and practices
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to effectively partner with employees and leaders across functions and locations
  • Demonstrated ability to coach employees and leaders through complex, difficult, and sensitive situations with sound judgment and professionalism
  • Strong research, analytical, planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong general software capability


Preferred Qualifications/Additional Skills

  • HRIS and LMS experience (SAP SuccessFactors and Articulate Storyline)
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills; experience coordinating training programs
  • Experience with SharePoint (document library management and front-end intranet)
  • Canva experience; comfortable building clean, engaging internal communications and learning visuals
  • Experience using dashboards and interpreting data
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
