Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our HR team and be on the ground floor for the implementation and launch of Workday HCM. In this role, you will support implementation efforts, drive ongoing systems improvements, and troubleshoot application issues. You will collaborate with HR, IT, and other internal partners to enhance system functionality and improve the overall user experience across HR technology platforms. Expertise specifically in Workday Core HCM required.

Position Details
  • Partner internally to support the successful implementation, launch, and post-go-live stabilization of Workday Core HCM and other modules
  • Serve as an HR technology subject matter expert by identifying system and process improvement opportunities and delivering technology focused solutions that support operational excellence.
  • Administer and support Workday, including user access, uploads, audits, troubleshooting, and system documentation.
  • Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM to align with evolving business needs, including workflows, forms, fields, rules, and security.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR systems users to promote effective, efficient, and consistent usage
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies and regulations, as well as best practices for data management and governance.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend HR technology enhancements, features, and emerging trends to improve user experience and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT partners to manage system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, testing, and related documentation.
  • Partner with IT to manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure Southland maximizes the value of its HR technology investments.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Business, Human Resources, and/or Technology discipline preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience managing enterprise HR technology platforms; Workday HCM required
  • 2-3 years of experience with senior level Workday administration, configuration, integrations and reporting, with very strong acumen in Workday Core HCM
  • Experience supporting a Workday HCM Phase 1 implementation including data conversion and test management
  • Strong working knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices, and how they relate to HR technology and data.
  • Hands-on experience leading system implementations and ensuring integration with existing systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Very effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and levels of management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite, including Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Power Automate
  • Experience with HR AI technology preferred

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (Colorado/New York City/California/Washington/Maryland/Virginia/DC) this ranges from $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
