Job Description

Senior HRIS Analyst

Human Resources Information Systems

The Opportunity

The Senior HRIS Analyst supports the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the organization's core HR systems - including applicant tracking - and their integrations with related recruiting and CRM platforms. This role combines hands-on system work with analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

Working closely with HR partners, business stakeholders, and system owners, you will help resolve issues, validate data across systems, and drive enhancements that improve how the organization uses its HR technology. This is a strong fit for an experienced systems professional who enjoys working directly in tools, supporting production environments, and building lasting operational depth in HR technology.

Key Responsibilities

Systems, Integrations & Quality Assurance
  • Support configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of core HR and applicant tracking systems, including workflows, fields, forms, and related behavior
  • Support and validate integrations between HR/ATS systems and connected recruiting or CRM platforms, including monitoring data flow, troubleshooting failures, and assessing downstream impacts
  • Serve as a quality assurance partner and tester for system changes, integration updates, and defect fixes
  • Partner with team members and vendors to test releases, regression scenarios, and changes prior to production deployment
  • Manage a steady volume of support issues and requests, prioritizing, investigating, and resolving them within established service levels

Process Analysis & Documentation
  • Analyze HR and recruiting workflows and system usage to support issue resolution, process clarity, and system improvements
  • Create and maintain clear, structured documentation, including configuration notes, test plans, and reference materials
  • Prepare findings, test results, risks, and recommended options to support decision-making

Stakeholder Interaction
  • Partner directly with HR team members and business stakeholders on questions and system needs
  • Escalate complex, cross-system, or out-of-scope issues through established channels
  • Operate effectively in an environment with frequent change, evolving priorities, and incomplete information

Systems & Data Support
  • Maintain working knowledge of HR, ATS, and CRM data structures, triggers, and behavior as they relate to business processes
  • Support integration validation, file-based or API-driven troubleshooting, and vendor coordination
  • Validate reporting outputs and downstream systems affected by configuration and integration changes
  • Participate in cross-functional HR system support and harmonization initiatives

Qualifications

Experience & Skills
  • 4+ years of experience supporting HR systems, with experience in Dayforce preferred
  • Experience supporting applicant tracking systems (ATS) and integrations with external CRM or recruiting platforms preferred
  • Familiarity with recruiting workflows, job posting processes, and candidate lifecycle stages
  • Experience with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support
  • Comfortable working directly in technical tools and supporting live production environments

Technical & Analytical
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Familiarity with system logic, workflows, and data structures
  • Exposure to integrations, APIs, flat files, or vendor-managed connections preferred

Other Requirements
