That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?
In short, as a Senior HR Systems Analyst (Senior Employee Experience Systems Analyst), you will be a member of the centralized, dedicated Workday HRIS Team working out of our Tempe, AZ Home Office. This team works together to ensure effective use of the system by updating, configuring, improving and providing expertise on the system for other Employee Experience departments.
In long, the Senior HR Systems Analyst is responsible for:
Providing technical support for HRIS specific Workday modules, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations to system utilization. Serves as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. Payroll, Talent Acquisition and IT).
Leads in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and other technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Documents process and results.
Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent the Employee Experience Team in IT integration projects.
Advises on any changes or actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Implement Workday business process configuration changes.
Validates system configuration changes, to ensure quality and stability of Workday.
Informs management of recurring issues or when additional team training may be required.
Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts.
View and audit incoming employee data from Self Service and Onboarding systems.
Resolve payroll, timekeeping and tax-related issues.
Answer help-desk tickets.
The Specifics.
Knowledge of Workday is highly desired
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Marketing, Human Resources or other related field.
3+ years experience working with various data and analytics platforms including Workday
Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience
Experience developing and implementing business and system process improvements and setting standards.
