Full Job Description
Responsibilities
Conduct research related to DHS HR business processes, Federal human capital programs, and cybersecurity workforce/employment practices, and prepare summaries of HR documents, articles, and white papers.
Collect, track, and analyze HR data, developing basic reports, spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and summaries for leadership.
Provide high-level administrative and program support to OCHCO executives and leadership, including scheduling, logistics, document review, filing, travel orders, meeting space, briefing packages, inventory, data entry, and project coordination.
Plan and coordinate executive-level meetings and working councils, including agendas, presentations, scheduling, rosters, meeting minutes, and follow-up actions.
Develop and maintain HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for administrative functions, business processes, workload tracking, and deliverables.
Track HR accomplishments and prepare progress reports and executive-level summaries for DHS senior leadership, cybersecurity stakeholders, external partners, and Congress.
Manage and track Executive Secretariat (Exec Sec) correspondence and taskers, including deadlines, status updates, follow-up actions, previous responses, and supporting documentation.
Maintain reports and records of Exec Sec taskers, including dates received and completed, current status, meeting minutes, weekly reporting data, and locations of supporting artifacts on shared drives.
Requirements:
Federal HR/Program Support Experience: Experience supporting Federal HR or human capital programs, including research, reporting, data tracking/analysis, meeting coordination, SOP development, and executive-level administrative support.
Executive & Program Management Skills: Experience supporting senior leadership, managing correspondence/taskers and deliverables, preparing briefing materials and reports, and using Excel/spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and other standard office tools.
