YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Senior Manager, HR Operations will lead the operational strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of core HR operating infrastructure, systems, programs, compliance, and service delivery under the direction of the Senior Director, HR. This role is responsible for building scalable HR foundations by designing best practice processes, SOPs, governance models, and technology ecosystems that enable efficiency, consistency, and exceptional employee experiences across the organization.

This leader will play a critical role in advancing the People function into a best-in-class, operationally excellent organization that supports business growth and workforce performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

HR Systems & Infrastructure Leadership

  • Own the selection, design, implementation, testing, and ongoing optimization of the HR technology ecosystem including HRIS (Workday), case management/ticketing platforms, intranet tools, document management systems, and system integrations.
  • Serve as the operational owner for HR data governance, system configuration standards, role-based access, change management, and system adoption.

Process Design & SOP Development

  • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of standardized HR processes across employee lifecycle areas including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, compensation administration, performance cycles, leaves, benefits administration, and employee data management.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive SOP libraries, playbooks, workflows, templates, and internal knowledge bases.
  • Establish and maintain service delivery models and intake processes that improve responsiveness and employee experience.

Program & Operational Enablement

  • Design and operationalize best in class HR programs including onboarding experience, manager enablement resources, policy deployment, compliance training workflows, and internal communications enablement.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent, Learning, DEI) to operationalize programs into scalable processes.

Reporting, Analytics & Governance

  • Develop and continuously evolve HR dashboards and reporting frameworks to support leadership decision-making.
  • Establish operating rhythms including monthly and quarterly business reviews, KPI scorecards, and continuous improvement cadences.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Alignment

  • Partner with HR leaders, HRBPs, IT, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure HR operations align with organizational priorities.
  • Act as a connective leader ensuring consistency across decentralized HR teams.

Vendor & Compliance Management

  • Own vendor relationships related to HR systems, background screening, benefits administration, document management, and compliance platforms.
  • Ensure HR operations meet regulatory requirements including data privacy, employment compliance, audit standards, and internal governance policies.

People Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Lead, coach, and develop a centralized HR Operations team responsible for employee support, transaction processing, system administration, and case management.
  • Drive service excellence through SLAs, quality standards, workforce planning, and performance management.

Operational Excellence & Transformation

  • Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks and implement automation and best-in-class procedures.
  • Lead change management efforts tied to system upgrades, policy changes, and operational transformation initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Deep expertise in HR operations, HRIS platforms, service delivery models, reporting, and operational program management (Workday experience preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional influence skills.
  • Experience leading enterprise process redesign and transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to translate strategy into operational execution.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for leadership and project workshops.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 12–15 years of progressive HR operations or HR transformation experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years in an operational leadership role.
  • Minimum 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience in fast-growth or matrixed organizations preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
  • Noise level is usually low to medium
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.

Pay Range

$134,700.00-$176,800.00 Annual

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
