Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Generalist to support a fast-growing and dynamic organization. This role is designed for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and brings advanced operational expertise in HR administration, systems and full ownership of benefits and leave administration. The successful candidate operates with a high degree of independence, initiative, and professional judgment and serves as a trusted execution partner within the HR function, providing critical operational support to HR Business Partners and HR leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Benefits and Leave Administration
• Own end-to-end administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and ancillary benefits
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all benefits inquiries and issue resolution
• Lead enrollments, life events, audits, and compliance activities in coordination with brokers and vendors
• Fully administer and track employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, multi-state leave laws, and company policies
• Lead benefits renewals and annual open enrollment planning and execution
• Manage vendor relationships and recommend improvements to benefits programs and processes
• Ensure highly accurate documentation, reporting, and full compliance with federal and state regulations

HR Systems and Operations
• Serve as an internal HRIS subject matter expert and primary power user for the organization, with preference for experience in UKG
• Leverage systems expertise to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Generate, interpret, and validate HR reports to support business and compliance needs
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements

Core HR Generalist Functions
• Provide operational and administrative support to HR Business Partners and the HR Director in executing departmental priorities and projects
• Maintain rigorous standards for employee records management and HRIS data integrity
• Support development, documentation, and implementation of HR policies and operational processes

Additional Responsibilities
• Assist with compliance audits and regulatory reporting

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, including primary ownership of benefits and leave administration in a complex or multi-state environment
• Demonstrated experience independently managing end-to-end benefits programs and employee leave processes
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state benefits and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, multi-state compliance)
• Advanced administrative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong systems expertise and experience working deeply within HRIS platforms (UKG strongly preferred)
• Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving organizations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• High level of initiative and sound professional judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred
