Job Description

Ignite is seeking a Senior Help Desk Technician to provide advanced Tier II support and technical leadership for IT environments supporting USASMDC missions. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) is responsible for delivering global missile defense, space operations, and strategic deterrence capabilities in support of Combatant Commands and national defense objectives. This role ensures continuity of operations in classified and operationally sensitive environments.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve complex hardware and software issues
• Perform root-cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting
• Serve as DTS and Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) subject matter expert for DTS-supported locations
• Mentor junior help desk personnel
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and configuration standards

Qualifications:
• Secret clearance (required)
• Advanced DoD 8140 certification
• 8+ years of experience providing Tier II/III IT support
• DTS and JTR expertise (for DTS-support roles)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)

Salary range: $80-120k
