JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description: 

Under the direction of the Section Manager, Grants Administration, the Senior Grants Administrator is responsible for conducting grant administration processes, in order to successfully fund and implement Pace's Capital Program and ensure compliance with grant requirements, guidelines, and regulations. This is accomplished through coordination with Pace internal stakeholders, reporting to external funding agencies, reviewing grant funded procurement information, preparing, and submitting grant applications, and maintaining updated data and performing grants related functions in various systems, databases, and applications. Essential Functions include:

  1. Researching and identifying discretionary grant funding opportunities and coordinate the development of grant applications made available by government agencies. 
  2. Utilizing Oracle system to manage grants information. 
  3. Ensuring grant compliance and accuracy, verifying amounts and sources. 
  4. Developing and submitting grant applications, amending grants, and complete reporting requirements, including Milestone Progress Reports. 
  5. Coordinating the compilation and communication of concurrence information as required by funding agencies. 
  6. Coordinating the review of useful life reports, process asset disposals, and complete FTA payback tracking and submittal processes. 
  7. Processing releases and invoices related to grant-funded projects to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

Education:

Qualified candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or combination of education and/or experience.

Experience:

Must have a minimum of three years' experience in grants management, budgeting, accounting, finance, procurement, audit, or related field. Must have knowledge of federal, state, and local grant programs, regulations, and guidelines.

Proficiencies:

Must be proficient in the use of Oracle, e-Builder, APEX accounting system and Microsoft Office Suite products. 

Must be a highly organized, detail oriented, and resourceful team player. 

Must be able to successfully and efficiently work on numerous projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines. 

Must have strong computer skills, and be proficient using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Adobe, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, and lift objects up to 10 lbs. 

Working Conditions:

This position is based on an office setting, with standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and desk space. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after successful completion of a 6-month job introduction period.

Salary

Full Salary Range: $63,306 - $138,328

Salary Midpoint: $100,817

Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $82,061 - $100,817
