Full Job Description
Prepare consolidated/combined federal and multi-state income tax returns
Prepare/review the quarterly and year-end income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740.
Prepare sales and use, property, city and business tax and other regulatory returns
Assist in R&D tax credit study.
Respond to all tax audits and tax notices, including gathering information, and assembling responses to auditor inquiries
Perform tax research projects.
Take on ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
5 above years of relevant tax experience, including public accounting or industry experience. Strong multi-state experience.
CPA or Masters in Taxation preferred but not required
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to details.
Ability to work with the accounting team and other departments within the company and proactively seek solutions or suggest improvements.
Ability to work proactively and independently under tight time frames in a fast-paced environment
