Description We're Hiring: Senior Full-Stack Software DeveloperCoreLife Healthcare is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to join our Engineering team in Linthicum, Maryland.
This is a hands-on senior technical role for someone who enjoys working across the full technology stack from front-end and mobile applications to back-end services, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and production support.
The Senior Full-Stack Software Developer will play an important role in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving CoreLife's software platform while helping guide technical architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and development best practices.

What You'll Do - Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications.
- Develop and maintain front-end functionality, native/mobile applications, back-end services, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Write clean, secure, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot complex application, database, integration, and production issues.
- Contribute to software architecture and technical decisions supporting scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers.
- Support deployments, production operations, system maintenance, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Ensure development practices support CoreLife's security and compliance requirements, including applicable SOC 2 controls.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to develop effective technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, development processes, performance, and reliability.
Core Technical ExperienceWe're looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience in:
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- React and/or Angular
- Node.js and REST API development
- SQL Server / Azure SQL and T-SQL
- Git and modern source-control practices
- Microsoft Azure application development and deployment
- Application debugging and production troubleshooting
- Application security and secure development practices
Experience with technologies such as React Native, MongoDB, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, HL7, CCDA/XML, and healthcare integrations is highly desirable.
Candidates do not need to be experts in every component of the CoreLife technology stack. We are looking for someone with strong technical depth, broad full-stack experience, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Qualifications - 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience across front-end and back-end systems.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs and distributed application components.
- Strong relational database experience, including SQL development, data modeling, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud-hosted applications, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with application testing, debugging, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, application security, authentication/authorization, and data-protection principles.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, automated builds, and CI/CD.
- Proven ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical problems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentorship, code review, or knowledge sharing.
Preferred ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Healthcare technology or another regulated industry
- HIPAA/PHI-sensitive application development
- SOC 2-controlled environments
- HL7, CCDA, EHR, or healthcare integrations
- React Native/mobile application development
- Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud infrastructure
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD automation
- Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
- High-volume data processing and integration systems
ScheduleEight (8) hours per day, Monday through Friday. Working hours will be determined by management based on business needs.
