The Job at a Glance

As a Sr Fulfillment Center Systems Analyst (internally known as a FC Magician), you will join an award-winning team, driving the productivity of a fast-growing, highly automated distribution center (FC) operation. At Parts Town, we don't just use HighJump, we relentlessly innovate with it. You will engage in deep collaboration with FC leaders as you get to build and implement exciting HighJump enhancements on a near constant basis. You won't be sitting in endless meetings - we have a bias for action. We fill our days with exciting and interesting technical challenges that benefit the business as we seek to understand, simplify, and automate.

A Typical Day
  • You collaborate with the HighJump development team and FC leaders to design innovative solutions for our most pressing operational challenges
  • You share in the handling of support calls as needed, ensuring our FC team is always up and running smoothly
  • You divide and conquer coding projects with the HighJump team, as we continually figure out the best ways to make the most impact quickly
  • You shepherd your projects from beginning to end: ironing out all questions with stakeholders, reviewing approaches and coding with teammates, minimizing risk with best practices, testing thoroughly, implementing cleanly, and supporting after go live


To Land This Opportunity
  • You are a SQL and/or WMS developer/analyst with 3+ years of experience in HighJump. Big plus if you are familiar with BluJay Parcel Flagship, Exacta, Locus, AutoStore or similar systems
  • You have 1-2 years experience in operational production environments, so you understand general best practices around incremental process improvement
  • You've developed and supported high-volume complex applications, so you appreciate techniques for writing code that is easy to test, highly configurable, and readily scalable with the operation
  • You enjoy interacting with your users and truly understanding their challenges. That is what drives your passion for innovation - you love solving hard problems that serve a key business need
  • You are insanely detail oriented. It really matters to you that your work is clear, correct, and easily maintainable by your teammates.
  • You ask A LOT of questions - the more questions, the better

The salary range for this role is $79,409 to $ 107,165 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
